To support production activities, the company has modern laboratories, which were expanded in 2021, dedicated to chemical-physical and microbiological analysis. The company makes continuous investments to improve the quality of its existing products and to support the development of new drugs that are strategic for its business. Optimization of production processes is constantly managed also. years of experience To guarantee flexibility and production versatility, Fisiopharma uses both traditional technology (steel equipment) and single-use technology to manufacture its products. Products are prepared with various types of equipment of different scales, from glass and steel tanks of different sizes (up to a maximum of 500 litres), to numerous single-use preparation systems from 50 litres to 500 litres and with different mixing systems. This same flexibility is applied in the sterilising filtration and filling stage, with systems and production processes developed specifically for individual products. Fisiopharma works with all major materials suppliers for vials, ampoules, stoppers, sterilising filters and single-use materials, as well as with leading equipment and production-line manufacturers. With more than30 years of experience in injectable field, Fisiopharma has also developed a consolidated manufacturing process for sterile suspensions. In order to standardise and automate processes as much as possible, Fisiopharma has also recently introduced a new ERP system. Fisiopharma works with a number of Italian partners and suppliers including primary and secondary packaging material suppliers, equipment and production-line manufacturers, development and analysis laboratories, and logistics companies.
